Bahareh Lazemizadeh is a dedicated professional who has spent most of her life in Sacramento, California. Bahareh also has spent part of her life living abroad in Iran with her family. Bahareh has a Bachelor’s degree in sociology from Sacramento State University and a Master’s degree in clinical counseling from Pacifica Graduate Institute, she has become a licensed marriage and family therapist as well as a licensed professional clinical counselor.  While simultaneously pursuing her licensures, she authored an academic thesis addressing the impact of Hypercriminalization and proposed therapeutic approaches for mental health professionals to support their communities. Passionate about her work, Bahareh has been actively involved with the in-reach and re-entry community since 2017, transitioning to full-time roles in the field in 2021. Her unwavering commitment lies in supporting, individuating, and enhancing the quality of life for individuals within prison facilities and returned citizens, employing holistic and mental health awareness approaches.
